School subscription page, tariff upgrades and full content protection

NewImprovementPaymentsCourse builderSecurityAPI

A “Subscription and tariff” page with a tariff comparison, upgrades to a higher tariff with a surcharge only for the rest of the period, and courses that open only in the app.

What’s new

  • School subscription and tariff. The “Subscription and tariff” page in school management now shows the current tariff and its status, the next charge date, the linked card and payments. It also has a full tariff comparison with a billing period switch. You can subscribe or change the tariff right on this page, and restore a cancelled subscription until the end of the paid period.
  • Upgrading to a higher tariff. The new tariff takes effect right after payment, and the surcharge covers only the rest of the paid period — the next charge date stays the same.
  • Upgrades for students. The same works for subscriptions to the school’s courses: set a “Tariff tier” in the course tariff settings, and a student can move to a higher-tier tariff with a surcharge for the rest of the period. On the payment page they see how many days are left on the current tariff and how much to pay.
  • Full content protection. Course settings have a new “Full content protection” option: the course content opens only in the app, with screenshots and screen recording blocked. In a browser, students see a screen with a link to download the app. The demo lesson stays open everywhere.
  • Reviews and curator chat. The course “Reviews” section has a new “Feedback collection” block: you can turn off the course review after completion and lesson ratings, and collect lesson ratings at the end of each lesson or once, in the last lesson of a module. In the course settings you can set up the “Chat with the curator” button in lessons: hide it, keep the conversation on the platform or point it to an external link, for example Telegram.

What’s better

  • In a Notion block you can open nested pages and go back, right inside the block.
  • School user and student lists and group member lists now have “Active”, “Dismissed” and “Deleted” tabs and a status filter.
  • When an account is deleted, all of the employee’s department employments are closed automatically.
  • The list of active sessions shows the device name.
  • School mini apps opened in windows: only one window stays expanded, the others collapse into a stack that is kept after a page reload.

For integrators (API)

  • The CourseCompleted, CourseProgressChanged, ProductEnrolledToFree, ProductEnrolledViaLms, ProductEnrolledViaPayment and ProductEnrolledByInviteLink webhooks now include access data — with its UTM tags and the invite link the student came through — and the student’s signup and enrollment UTM tags.
